Everly Sue - 9 Months

March 21st - Everly turned 9 Months!
At her last appointment on March 6th, she was 26.25 inches long and weighed, 14lbs-14oz. Tiny little thing.
She can crawl on her hands and knees now.
She pulls herself up standing onto anything in sight. The toy box, the cabinets, my legs...
She loves the dishwasher when it's open. She loves drawers too - and she loves pulling things out of either of these.
She can feed herself now finally! and it's adorable to see her entire fist go into her mouth just to drop a cheerio.
Every time she drops something or can hear a sound that sounds like someone has dropped something, she says "uh, oh!" or when she gets confused she says, "oo, ah!"
She is starting to snuggle more! one day she snuggled for hours!
She LOVES dogs. her first encounter was at my aunt Kristy's house when we went to stay a few nights. she was all over her! it was the cutest thing. She loves seeing them around too. She heard a dog barking on our walk the other day and tried to mimic the sound.
She makes the funniest cheesy face around. It makes me smile, if not laugh, every time!

Her top teeth are about to pop out any time! She has been struggling for a long time with them. She has a tiny apatite, and doesn't sleep much. She has 6 coming, but the top two are just about there.
She is still a big giggler. And popping your head out of random places, still gets her going every time.
She likes to stick her finger up her nose, and lots of times it goes up too far.
We love her so much!

Christmas 2013

I just realized that I never posted about our Christmas!

It was Everly's first one.

We went up to the mountains to get a tree as a family. Sierra and Jeff came along in a separate car, just in case one of us got stuck. Guess who got stuck? We almost went of the mountain side too. We eventually got unstuck and made it home safe.

Christmas day was fun. My mom and Sierra came to watch Everly open her presents. Everly was so in to it.

Everly Sue - 8 Months

February 21st - Everly turned 8 Months

I can't believe how fast this baby learns. Since the last post (a month ago) she has rolling down to an art.
She is army crawling all over the place.
She loves finding new things! Such as things she shouldn't play with.
I have come to the realization that our house needs baby proofed, and fast!
When she is sitting she can pull herself up on to her knees or standing.
I caught her sitting on her knees and playing with her books on the bookshelf. It was pretty cute. It was funny to find out she could stand too. We were putting up her decorations in her room and Ryan sat her in her crib and we both turned around and I asked Ryan if he stood her up, and he said no. We both just giggled. It was really cute.
She can wave hi and bye bye (those are two different waves). And when she waves bye bye she says "Babababab...".

She says Momma and Dadda. It's hard to know if she knows what each of those are, but she says them both often.
I forgot to mention in the last post, but she loves saying "liggle". It's less often now, but it's the cutest little language I have ever heard. And so I started singing Mary had a 'Liggle' Lamb to her. And she loved it. My sister got her a sweet little lamb stuffed animal and we named it Liggle.
She gives great big hugs, but doesn't like to snuggle. I have made my peace with it. The hugs make the no snuggling worth while.
She loves when I pop my head out of random places. It gets her every time. I don't even say anything. She just spots me and starts laughing her big belly laugh.
She also laughs when I dance. I guess when I think about it, my mom and sisters laugh when I dance too...
She eats all kinds of stuff now. I won't name them all. But a bunch of fruit and veggies and she can now gum food too. Like cheerios. She has a really sensitive gag reflex. if it gets too close to the back of her mouth, she'll throw everything she just ate up. This happens quite often. Lots of times if she coughs a little too hard she will throw up too.
Got a new high chair! She looks super cute in it. She was using the one my grandma had when she was a baby. It's wood and the paint is all chipped and I had to tie her down with an old belt. The arms of that chair were kind of low and she would bend her body over it. Made me nervous. Plus it was hard to clean. It's good that we have a chair with straps and a tray now. I love my grandma's but I love it more as decoration.
I was feeding Everly her dinner and she randomly screamed. It scared me so much that I jumped really hard. She thought this was the funniest thing, and could not stop laughing. She was laughing so hard she was turning red. She may look like her daddy, but she's got her mommy's sense of humor.

Holly's Baby Shower

My sister in law Holly has 3 boys and is now expecting a little girl! We are all so excited for her! Almost as much as her boys are! ;)

She let me throw her a baby shower for her. And I didn't know I would have so much fun decorating for it. I did have some help from my sister with decorations and mother in law with food. And my sister in law put together the cute party favor table and games. It was fun.

Can't wait to meet her!

McCall Ice Festival

Bundled the heck out of little miss. If you couldn't tell.

She couldn't stop smiling on the pony.
Oh, it was adorable.

We went up to McCall for a night to see all the ice sculptures. We got a free upgrade for a honeymoon suit! It had a jacuzzi. Everly liked that. We all stayed in the king size bed together. It was like a sleepover!
We didn't see all of the sculptures because there were just so many people. And Everly was getting restless. She was a trooper though. It was a fun little get away.

And here is a blooper...

I remember him slipping and almost falling, but I didn't know I caught it on camera!
Love you honey!
