Well FIRST...
Ryan had a birthday, shout hooray!!!!
i had no idea what to get him.
he told me he didn't want anything!
so i made him pick a birthday cake.
he chose German Chocolate.
my mom, called to tell him happy birthday,
or maybe i called her to get the recipe.
i cant remember.
anyway, she told him that there is no way i could make
German Chocolate.
Ugh.
thanks mom.
luckily daegan called.
or maybe i called her.
i cant remember.
but i did make it and i was warned it made a lot.
maybe i should make cupcakes?
nah, it will fit in a big lasagna pan. :)
not a good idea.
its meant to be baked in round pans, to stack them.
the outer sides were cooking WAY faster than the middle.
daegan mentioned that my grandma, and herself
put tinfoil on it
to prevent from burning.
so i tried it.
not 2 min later the inside was done!
the sides were a little dry.
but MAN what would have happened if i didn't have
daegan
to rescue me
thanks daeg. :)
it turned out just fine
and we ate the whole cake
through the week.
Over the weekend,
we went to Boise
for a wedding reception.
We got to see Family.
his and mine (ours) :)
Holly had a great idea
to go to the Temple before the reception.
GREAT IDEA!
It had been way too long!
We ate there too.
It was super fun.
On Sunday we had a dinner thing for Ryan's birthday.
We had,
finger steaks,
fried chicken,
beans,
home made ice cream,
home made fries,
pretty much anything you could think or
dream of.
We stopped by my mom's on the way
home.
it was so nice to see everyone.
I am sure i missed some details,
but you get the gist.

I notice you didn't mention my deviled eggs...they must not have been too memorable. I knew I made the filling too creamy! :) It was good to see you guys, we had fun going to the temple-we will have to do that again when mom & dad can go. Have a good week!
