Silver City

we took a trip to visit a ghost town that's called silver city. it was built in the 1800's. Too bad most of these houses are privately owned, because i wanted to walk through all of them with my medical bag like dr. quinn.
and next time ryan tells me to bring a jacket and i don't have one. i'm going to go and buy one, or at least back my winter coat. it was flipping cold!

ryan tells me this map is hand painted.

this is the hotel. still used. it looks like it is about ready to fall down.
they had a sweet diner inside. smelled real good.

ryan's new car.

there was a guy on the other side painting this house.

the school and the the church house.
there is a peep hole to look through to see inside the church house.
nice handlesets by the way.

i like a lot of things about this blog post. The pictures were fantastic and they include hardware, solar panels and tombstones. You just don't see combinations like that in blog posts these days. Sweet trucker hat Ryan, did you drive truck like Charly back in the day?
