"eating gravy having a beard"

after we went to pf changs for dinner on friday with friends. (so good!)....

sierra decided that she was coming to see us this weekend. and she did. thanks to our sweet daddy, who gave her gas money, because she is poor.

so she got her friday night. and we mostly just chatted about life. and when i say life, i mean sierra's life. and when i say sierra's life i mean her boyfriend. NEW boyfriend. she was totally giddy. it was adorable.

ryan was watching a show called "who survives" and it has 2 true stories and one survives and one does not. it's a terrible show. i was mad after it ended. who comes up with crap like that?

anyway, after we passed out for the night. sierra said she didn't sleep very much at all. she actually said these words to me, "your couch is not very comfy".  WHAT!? my new comfy couch? THIS ONE??

whatever sierra. you must be crazy. crasy.

so we woke up and made or traditional big breakfast. except sierra and i had the gluten free version.

pancakes, sausage and hashbrowns.

yum!

then we sat around for a while... sierra got on facebook and ogled over her new boyfriend's pictures as i finally decided to get ready. we were planning on going swimming where we had once seen actual jelly fish. i was stung before we noticed them. sierra really wanted one for her man. some odd reason, my mom knew they weren't going to be there anymore. and she ended up being right.

lame.

so we swam anyway. it was totally yucky water. but it was over 100 degrees outside, so we got over the fact there were floaties. it felt good. got a tiny bit of tan. or should i say another shade of white.

we had lunch, and layed in the sun as long as we could stand it.

 it didn't take very long to go and find shade.

then we went home we made rice crispy treats and watched a LOT of sytycd. cause i had them all saved on the dvr. got bored of that real fast. decided to talk and laugh a while. and then we stayed up soo late to cut and color my hair.

we went to church the next morning and enjoyed it. it was fun to show her off to my new friends.

they all loved her.

came home. ry went to help some family move into a new house for several hours. and sierra and i watched shark week. sierra had never seen it in her life and was super excited. there are some crazy stuff.

the tv is being dumb. and turning black all the time. so we quite and took a nap. and when we woke up. we talked forever about all kinds of things. we laughed and mostly cried together. and then laughed some more at the rainbow sponge lady...

watched diary of a wimpy kid. giggled some more and went to bed.

mom stopped by for a little bit and then she took sierra shopping for dresses. then they had to leave. :(

i love my family more than you will ever know.

thanks for the wonderful time sierra. it was so fun.
